1967 C10 For Sale

1967 C10 For Sale —

This is a 1967 C10 “shortbed” truck.

These are the details as I know them to the best of my ability:

Exterior

  • Longbed cut down to short bed (looks to be a good job)

  • Red white and blue patina finish

Interior

  • Red interior, USA flag headliner

  • Ivory shift knob

Power

  • 468 Big Block with supercharger (purportedly around 6-700hp), low mileage engine

  • Custom engine fabrication

  • 4-Speed manual transmission

Electrical

  • Holley EFI?

  • Custom Gauges

  • Optima Battery

Suspension / Wheels

  • Mickey Thompson Drag Radials

  • Lowered (not sure on what)

Misc

  • There is rust in the common places such as rockers

  • Told it runs best on race gas, but it can run on pump too, so flex-fuel?

The patina is really killer and was the main reason I bought this truck. It was always my intention to put this on a C20 frame or a custom frame to handle the torque, but I cannot dedicate any time to that endeavor. I did drive it a block after it was delivered, so it does move under its own power. However, it seemed wildly unsafe. While the engine fabrication itself looks really good, the supporting modifications are not present. I believe it is still sitting on drum brakes, and the steering probably needs to be looked at. The prospective buyer is permitted to check any of the details, do any compression tests or try to start it, but test drives will not be allowed because of the aforementioned issues. This truck will need to be trailered.

It has been stored under a cover and is now currently in a garage.

Note: I bought this truck on eBay to the tune of somewhere around $15,000 in 2022 in hopes of transplanting to a custom chassis or C20 chassis. With that being said, I failed to procure the title through this transaction. I was told by the seller the title exists multiple times and our communications were always fluid and positive. We were on good terms, and she even wanted to buy it back afterwards, but communication dropped off, and I had to move on to other things. However, I will provide the seller’s address and contact details to the buyer post-sale if requested. I just do not have time to pursue.

I’m asking $9,999, but I am open to negotiations on this vehicle, and will provide a bill of sale. Cash talks, not looking for any trades or other vehicles.
